We are looking for an experienced and passionate Events Manager to join our fabulous team at Hotel Canobolas. We have a large and very busy function and event offering and we need someone who is happy to work with our guests from enquiry through to execution, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations exceeded!

ABOUT YOU:
You will have a passion for service and ideally have a minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will have the following personal attributes:

  • Ability to build strong relationships, personable and approachable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely organised, high attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to drive revenue and increase growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Manage all our small to large scale events and functions.
  • Coordinate and communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients regarding event details.
  • Produce and distribute accurate information and event orders.
  • Identify operational challenges and work with the client, sales, operations and kitchen teams to solve these challenges.
  • Manage client budgets to maximise revenue and to meet client needs, ensure financials for the event and payments are correct.
  • Ensure all guests experience a standard of service that is customer focused and leaves a favourable lasting impression.
  • Maintain and regularly update data base including relevant client information.
