About the Role

Have you had previous experience as a Head Chef running a fast-paced kitchen in a small to medium sized venue? Or are you an experienced Senior Sous Chef looking to take the next step in your career?

Redcape Hotel Group is looking for a Head Chef to join our Leadership Team at Aspley Hotel.

Key qualifications and attributes:

  • Demonstrated leadership and previous experience.
  • Ability to solve problems and seek guidance where necessary.
  • Clear communication skills with a high level of organisation.
  • Uncompromising approach to product & service delivery – a great hands-on service ethic.
  • Exceptional capabilities in quality and consistency of product delivery.
  • Experience in operating multiple obligations for several service points.
  • Commitment to rotating rosters & shift work to fulfil a variety of shifts, that can vary from opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays.
  • Capable of working cohesively and autonomously within a small team.
  • Preferred: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef in a fast paced kitchen.
