The Role:
The Assistant Manager’s role is crucial in overseeing the daily operations of the business and ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience. Some of the key responsibilities and skills required for this role include:
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered across all aspects of the business. This involves handling guest and staff inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Staying updated with venue compliance, regulations, and operations to ensure that the business operates within legal guidelines and maintains a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Training and motivating the team members, focusing on their continual development.
- Being a natural and confident leader with strong communication skills to effectively guide the team.
- Developing creative promotions and initiatives to attract more customers and enhance the overall experience at the venue.
- Improving staff knowledge and skill set to better engage with customers and create a positive and enjoyable atmosphere.
Skills and Experience:
- Being highly motivated and passionate about the hospitality industry, demonstrating enthusiasm in providing exceptional services.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments and handle various tasks simultaneously.
- Possessing natural leadership qualities, with exceptional communication skills to lead and guide the team effectively.
- Holding a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and a Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) accreditations
- Having in-depth knowledge of craft beer, wine, and spirits, enabling effective recommendations and enhancing the guest’s experience.
- Being available to work a mix of nights, weekends, and day shifts to accommodate the venue’s operational hours.
